Lake Country Harmony Chorus, Northeast Texas' own Sweet Adelines International Chorus, was chartered in 1995. The Chorus regularly entertains at community and civic functions, churches and charitable events all over the Northeast Texas area. Major highlights of the year include the annual Fourth of July performance in Jefferson, various Christmas Shows and our annual Sweet Adelines Convention in Richardson, Texas. Currently with 25 members, the chorus performs in costumed, choreographed program of lively up-tunes, love songs, pop songs, religious, patriotic and western swing, all sung in four-part harmony, barbershop style. Our show is appropriate for all ages! The chorus rehearses each Monday night, excluding holidays, 6:30-9:00 p.m., at Gilmer Intermediary School, 1623 US Highway 271 North in Gilmer.
